Should I buy the Fire Stick or Fire TV?
Both devices will give you to access the same content and will deliver a great experience. There are two major differences between the Fire TV and the Fire Stick. The Fire TV allows you to watch 4k content and HDR, while the Fire Stick is only standard 1080p HD. Secondly, the Fire TV does have a more powerful processor, thus making it faster.

My Fire remote control isn't working? Help!
This is a simple issue to resolve. First, make sure the controller has batteries and they are properly inserted. The first step is to disconnect and reconnect the Fire device. Second, hold the Fire remote directly next to the Fire device and hold the Home button for 10 to 30 seconds. It should connect after that. Keep in mind, it might take a couple of times, but it will eventually connect.
